Does Crowsheath Estate have any age restriction?

Yes, the park is for the over-50s.

Does Crowsheath Estate have CCTV in operation?

CTV is in operation for your security and well-being along with a key-fob controlled main Gated Entrance to the Park, also another for the Resident’s only area.

Is Crowsheath Estate pet friendly?

We are one of the few pet-friendly parks in Essex, with beautiful dog walking facilities on site.

Can others use the park’s facilities?

Grandchildren, friends, and family are more than welcome to use our communal grounds whilst visiting you.

What is on the park?

Crowsheath is one of the largest sites in Essex, 110 Acres, sited with 18 Exclusive Homes. We have our very own Fishing lake, just a Short Walking Distance from your home – free for you to use.

What standard are the homes built to?

All our homes are built to BS3632:2015 residential park home standards that provide high-quality standards for residential park homes, ensuring residents’ safety, comfort and durability.

Do you provide outside storage?

For your push bike, golf clubs and other bits, sheds can be ordered through the office. All sheds are required to be the same. This is to keep the park looking smart.

Is residential park living right for me?

Residential Park living is an attractive option for those who have retired or semi-retired and want to simplify their lives. The homes are designed to require minimal maintenance and upkeep, resulting in significantly lower running costs compared to traditional homes made of bricks and mortar. Additionally, these homes are spacious and bright, with all living spaces on one level, providing an ideal and convenient living environment.

Our sites provide a strong sense of security that many of our residents find reassuring, as they feel safe and secure around the clock, seven days a week. In addition to this, residents cherish the sense of community that develops over time, forming great friendships with neighbours and other residents within the park.

Do the park homes at Crowsheath balconies?

Most of the park homes at Crowsheath Estate come with balconies, these vary in size, depending on the home style and location.

Do park homes have private parking?

Your new luxury park home at Crowsheath Estates will have private parking for 2 cars. It is completely landscaped, and block paved, your park home will also benefit from having a full brick skirt surround.

This is all included in the price.

What are the ongoing costs of park home living?

As with brick-and-mortar properties, you are accountable for paying council tax (band A) and utility bills.

In addition, ground rent is due to cover the expenses of maintaining and preserving the park. As per the Mobile Homes Act, this rent may increase and is currently linked to the index, with strict regulations governing the process.

The current site/ground rent at Crowsheath Estate is £290 per calendar month, usually paid monthly.

We adjust our site/ground rent yearly to keep up with inflation.

Water is charged Monthly, usually at the same time as the ground rent.

Gas is supplied in bottles purchased from the site office at the supplier’s rate.

Electricity is on a smart meter.
